JKBOSE postpones annual Pvt exam of 10th, 11th classes | KNO

Srinagar, Aug 24 (KNO): In view of inclement weather conditions, Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) Sunday postponed annual private examination of 10th and 11th standard that were scheduled to be held on Monday. “The examination of papers scheduled to be held tomorrow of Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) and HSE Part-1st (Class 11th), Session Annual (Private) /Bi-annual 2025 for UTs of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have been postponed in view of severe inclement weather,” JKBOSE said as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). It also said that the board will notify new dates for the postponed exams separately. Pertinently, Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has also said that all government and private schools across the division shall remain closed on Monday in view of bad weather conditions. Earlier the meteorological department has issued a weather advisory predicting continued heavy rains and thundershowers, with risks of cloudbursts, flash floods, and landslides in vulnerable areas—(KNO)
